The University of Chicago Human-Computer Integration Lab hosted the CHI 2020 Smell, Taste, & Temperature virtual symposium on June 30, 2020, during which researchers focused on smell, taste, and temperature will present their CHI 2020 contributions. The symposium aims to create a forum for HCI researchers in these topics to meet, interact, and discuss their work as a community.
Recordings
The entire symposium was recorded from it’s simulcast to YouTube Live. We have processed the footage to separate each session into individual videos, and are now working to add closed captions for the entire event. The playlist of recordings can also be directly accessed here.
Attendance
255 people registered for STT20 from over 33 countries across the world. We were additionally excited to have 152 people tune in for the Smell Session, 93 for the Temperature Session, and 78 for the Taste Session.
